Upgrading to the CB9 is quick and easy. Simply connect directly into E39 base with the screw. Make sure to remove or bypass the ballast in the fixtures before installing the bulb. The corn bulb has 4kV Surge protector (that is used to protect equipment against power surges and voltage spikes while blocking voltage).
This wattage adjustable bulb allows you to customize the wattage while significantly cutting down on electricty bills (up to 80%). With latest LED technology and long serving life, this corn bulb eliminates the need for frequent bulb replacements which is typically required with HID fixtures (every 3-5 years).
