Install it easily by connecting directly into Mogul E39 base with the screw. Make sure to remove or bypass the ballast in the fixtures before installing the bulb. The LED corn bulb has a 4-6kV Surge protector (that is used to protect equipment against power surges and voltage spikes while blocking voltage).
