Account Overview
Q: How to create an account?
A: After placing an order, you will be asked to verify your email address via email. From this you can setup an account and keep track of all orders and shipping times. After creating an account, click Login on the top right hand corner of the page.
If you are a new customer:
1. Simply click the "Create An Account" on the top right corner of the page.
2. Fill in the appropriate information
3. Click "Create"
Q: I forgot my password.
A: Click "Sign In" on the top right corner then "Forgot your password?"
Order Status
Q: How much is shipping?
A: Simply add the items to the cart and enter in city, state, and zip code of the shipping address before you checkout.
Q: What is the shipping time?
A: Green Light Depot’s shipping time varies based on location but delivery averages 3–7 days after purchase. For expedited shipping, please call us. Additional fees may apply.
Q: Has the order shipped?
A: You will receive an email with fulfillment status. You can also login into your account by clicking on the top right hand corner of the page to check status.
Q: How do I edit an existing order?
A: Please contact us. Note: If the order is processing, shipping charges may still apply.
Q: I have received the wrong order or missing items.
A: Please login to your account and check order status. If all items have been fulfilled, please give us a call and we will assist appropriately. Note: UPS might deliver packages on separate days if you are receiving more than one box.

Finances
Q: Is Sales Tax included?
A: Sales tax is not charged for shipments outside of Georgia.
Q: What are the payment options?
A: Accepted forms of payment are Cash, Certified Money Order, Credit Card, Company Check, PayPal, and Wire Transfers. We do not extend terms.
Q: I need a copy or invoice of my order.
A: Login to your account and click on the order number needed.
Q: When will a credit appear on the account?
A: Credits appear 6–10 days after being received in the warehouse.

General LED Knowledge
Q: What is an LED?
A: LED stands for Light Emitting Diode.
Q: How does it work?
A: http://www.howstuffworks.com/led.htm has a very detailed, easy to understand article of the ins and outs of how LEDs work.
Q: What is a Watt?
A: A Watt (W) is an electrical unit of power. The higher the wattage the more power the bulb consumes. However LEDs can put out much more light with less watts. A 40W incandescent can easily be replaced with a 6–9W LED.
Q: What are lumens?
A: Lumens are a measure of how much light a bulb puts out. The higher the lumens the brighter the light. A 100W incandescent bulb puts out around 1600 lumens, an LED bulb can give you the same lumens with 16–20W.
Q: What is input voltage?
A: The input voltage is the voltage needed to allow the LEDs to produce light. Voltage differs for residential and commercial service. Most Green Light Depot LED bulbs have an input voltage range of 100–277V.
Q: What does beam angle mean?
A: The beam angle is the angle that is effectively lit by the LED. Spot lighting may use 30 or 60 degrees, while tube lights commonly use 180 or 240 degrees.
Q: What is a bulb base?
A: There are many types of bulb bases including E-26, E-27, E-12, G-13, Fa8, and E40 mogul bases.
Q: What does CRI mean?
A: CRI stands for Color Rendering Index and measures how accurately colors appear under a light source.
Q: Why is the color a number and not a color?
A: The number represents degrees Kelvin. 3000K is warm, 4000K is cool white, 5000K is white, and 6000K is daylight.
Q: What are the different wiring types?
A: Depending on the LED light being installed, wiring modifications may be required. You will need to bypass the ballast for retrofit installations.

Q: What is the lifespan rating?
A: Lifespan ratings are calculated by hours or years. For example, 50,000 hours equals approximately 45.6 years at 3 hours per day or 5.7 years at 24 hours per day.
Q: What is the warranty?
A: Warranty length varies by product. If the fixture is wired correctly and fails during the warranty period, Green Light Depot will replace the bulb.
Shipping
We do not offer international shipping at the moment.
It depends on where you are. Orders processed here will take 5-7 business days to arrive. Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7-16 days. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.
We use all major carriers, and local courier partners. You’ll be asked to select a delivery method during checkout.
