I ordered these to replace the old 8' T12 HO 110W fluorescent tubes in my garage. Rewiring the fixtures to bypass the ballasts was easy (I'm an electrician, but I think anyone could do it), and they work great!
We replaced all of the flouresent bulbs in our 11,000 square foot antique mall with LED's. We are very happy with the results! The light is much brighter and we are not constantly having to replace bulbs anymore.
This was a very easy transition to LED's. It took less than 15 minutes to remove the old bulbs and cut the pink ,blue and yellow wires from the ballast, connect the pink wires to the neutral and blue and yellow to lead. Replace the covers, installed the the new LED,s and turn on switch. Perfect!!. Nice bright light on instantly, no buzzing from the ballast. The picture are of 2 banks of lights converted and 1 bank I have left due when I get my cars out in the spring.
Remember to read the instructions and follow local codes. I'm not a tradesmen and every bodies project is different for me I love the product.
Got these after a bad experience with E__y product. Those bulbs started going bad shortly after installation and since it happened after the return period, I was stuck. No way to contact the seller to complain.
Went looking for some with a warranty plus someone here in the states that I could talk to if I had a problem and found these.
So far, I'm very happy with these bulbs. I also like the fact that they include clips to keep them from sagging which is a problem with the newer LED replacements.
I haven't replaced all of the other bulbs yet as a few still work so I'm hoping there aren't any duds in the box of 20, but at least if that happens, I can always call for help and that's great!
Love these LED conversions. Nice and bright…great upgrade. No installation instructions for ballast bypass came with them but after You Tubing it I figured it out and it was pretty easy. I was a little disappointed at first because the bulbs sagged in the middle but hen I realized there was a clip hiding in the cap on the end of the tube the bulb cam in…which could have been easily thrown away. Again, no instructions so I had no idea they were there. Lucky I found them.
I was reluctant to try the LED bulbs because I was not sure if the light level would be adequate. I upgraded just two of the 8’ light fixtures to see how the would work and work they did. The lights in the background are not upgraded yet but I will ordering them next week, not to mention that they use less electricity.
My shop has over 50 8ft bulbs. We replaced the fluorescents with the LED bulbs and it turned out just great! Much improved how light the shop is and looking forward to it helping the electric bill as well!
New Lights are great, the three pairs of LED lights (top, Left and a bit of the one to the right) take 240W vs the two older Fluorescent fixtures putting out less light at 440W. I am very satisfied with the LED lights and will get another 10 to finish my shop.
I removed the old very loud humming Ballast and rewired direct. Was super happy to get the bulbs today and have light again over my workbench (without tons of noise!)!
My old T12 double ended 8 foot ballast and lamps are on their last legs so I did a proof of concept with a pair of these LED lamps and it worked great with minimal fuss to bypass and remove the ballast. I want ahead and purchased another six to fix the three lamps that are totally out and replace the remainder slowly over the next year
The bulbs made a easy job of converting our display refrigerator at our florist shop functional. The ballast had failed and decided to convert to led because it was more practical all in all.
